We are pleased to share with you the 8th annual Australian Breakthrough Cancer (ABC) Study newsletter.
Commencing in 2014, the ABC Study is a long-term cohort study that will help us gain a better understanding of the role that our genes, lifestyle, and environment play in the development of cancer and other diseases the causes of cancer and other diseases.
Thank you again for your past participation – the study wouldn’t be possible without you. We have almost completed our first round of follow-up and have just commenced our second round. It’s important that we have your current contact details so that we can stay in touch with you over the life of the study - please complete the section below if you need to update your contact details.
Lifestyles and experiences change over time, and it is important that we capture these changes via our online study questionnaires.
In this newsletter we will update you on the study’s progress, introduce you to one of the study’s lead investigators, Dr Fiona Bruinsma, and provide an overview of some recent research conducted using the Health2020 study, an earlier cohort study undertaken by Cancer Council Victoria. |
