The ABC Study has over 7,000 participants registered. Many have completed the study questionnaires, providing researchers with information about their health, lifestyle and the history of cancer in their family. They also have provided a sample of their saliva for genetic analyses.

All of the information and saliva samples are collected and securely stored until there are sufficiently large numbers of participants to allow meaningful statistical analyses to take place.

It is expected that the goal of 50,000 participants will be achieved towards the end of 2016.
