The ABC Study would like to send a big thank you to Kirrily Guinan. Kirrily has gone to great efforts to help promote the ABC Study, both through her work in Relay for Life and throughout her local community. She has promoted the study through her local triathlon club and even included the ABC Study logo on the club’s kits this year. The club has also raised funds for the study through a triathlon event in Martha Cove in April.
Kirrily has had a team at the Frankston Relay for Life every year since 2010 and she has been on the Cranbourne Relay for Life committee since its inception in 2012. Since her diagnosis with breast cancer in 2011, she has supported others diagnosed with cancer by volunteering as a speaker, working on Cancer Connect, and raising money for Cancer Council Victoria through Daffodil Day and Pink Ribbon Day. Thank you, Kirrily, for using your story and energy to promote the study.
