Robyn, from Victoria, participated in the ABC Study in the hope of contributing to research that will help anyone affected by cancer.
Robyn says “We all need to help where we can to assist scientists beat this life changing horrible disease. It takes way too many good people in this world.” Robyn thought participating in the ABC Study was convenient and had the potential to make an impact.
Robyn’s sister was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma at 43 years old. She passed away two years later on Boxing Day of 2017, leaving behind her husband and two children aged 11 & 9.
“She was the most beautiful person I know, and she fought this disease with the most determination and strength I’ve ever seen.”
Robyn never wants to see any of her loved ones suffer the way her sister did, or have to see other families suffer a similar loss.
